Last week saw an unusual occurrence for a building project; work has been intentionally slowed down! Hounslow Homes (HH) are aware of the potential worry and stress that such works can cause residents and have responded accordingly. HH’s resident liaison officer recommended that work was suspended for a day to allow the residents to take stock of the changes to date and prepare for the further changes afoot.

bere:architects Retrofit for the Future projects are one of the few Retrofit for the Future projects which are maintaining a commitment to not moving the residents away from their property whilst the construction work is underway. Therefore the decision to slow the works temporarily was an important decision to ensure that the comfort of the residents was placed first.
